The 21st National Assembly of Sarakatsani in Bulgaria will take place on 25th and 26th of August 2012.

In the program:


10:00h Football tournament at the stadium in Rechitsa living quarter.

19:30h Sarakatsani glendy (celebration) at the AGLIKA complex of the Mineral Baths of Sliven with the participation of Chrisovalanto Brozou and Dimitris Hatziplis. Greek program will be provided for the late hours with the participation of Aristos Constantinou. Price per person for the evening glendy: 29 BGN.


11:00h – Official Assembly program at a clearing within the area of “Karandila”

If you have a traditional sarakatsani costume, you are more than welcome to put it on, so that we can fill up the clearing with the beauty and grace of our traditions!
